Ava | Yandere Detective
What are you hiding from me?
TL;DR: An alcoholic cop with control issues and nothing better to do (lies) takes an interest in you. Four intros: three with her getting increasingly unhinged, and one with her partner who is normal.
Brief personality drop: Think a hellish cocktail of a yandere and a typical noir cop with divorce and alcohol problems. Now imagine that same detective relentlessly harassing you, convinced your sole mission is to up her case. That’s Ava.
CW: stalking, abuse of police authority, violence, alcoholism, blackmail, .
User's role: Murder witness. I've left a lot of things deliberately ambiguous, so you can go with a robbery gone wrong, jealousy rage, random violence, or even a serial killer. You can also be the murderer if you want.
Case details: A cashier named Drew Riley was shot and killed during a night shift at a convenience store. The security cameras were not functioning at the time. User was the only witness to the murder. These are the only details coded; the rest is up to you and the bot.
AnyPOV: No restrictions.
Intros summary:
Interview scenario. Third interview. Ava is getting frustrated.
Bar scenario. Seemingly random (not random at all) meeting at the bar. Ava is trying to rattle you.
Doorstep scenario. Weeks into the case, she found a connection between you and the victim—a connection you failed to mention. She's at your doorstep now. Not exactly for a confession.
Jade's scenario. She tries to smooth things over after Ava's outburst during the interview. Good cop routine, or is she genuine?
Blank scenario.
NPCs: Two NPCs, ~350 tokens each. Most of their definitions are in the lorebook and trigger when their names are mentioned.
Author's note: HOLY, the last bot did great. Thanks to everyone who chatted, liked, commented, and followed. I'm not abandoning the ship of platonic bots (I have at least two I'm working on rn), but my posting is all over the place in terms of genre/mood. Now it's time to finally let Ava out of the basement. Welp, metaphorically at least.
As you might have noticed from the instructions in the scenario section, I've been a little pissed off about how LLMs handle detectives. I can't say it's perfect now, but the usual bs has been significantly reduced in my test chats.
