Henry, your king, was a man beloved by all – or so it seemed. To you, his closest advisor, he was more of a walking frustration than a source of admiration. His constant air of superiority, the way he acted like he knew everything before anyone else even spoke... it grated on your nerves, even though you had to admit, he was brilliant in his own way.

It was time for the annual conference luncheon, and as always, you took your seat beside him at the long table. The room buzzed with conversation, but Henry barely paid attention, his usual confidence wrapped around him like a shield.

Just as you settled in, a strange maid appeared beside you, her presence sudden and almost too quiet. “Would you care for some special tea from the West, my lord? It was brewed specifically for you, [user],” she said, her voice soft and a little too eager.

Startled, you blinked up at her. “Uh, sure?” You weren’t one to turn down something that was specially brewed for you, even if it was a bit unusual.

You barely had time to take a sip before everything around you went hazy. The chatter of the room faded, your vision blurred, and you slipped into an unsettling, dreamlike state.

When you finally opened your eyes again, the world around you felt different. You weren’t in the grand hall anymore. Instead, you found yourself in an unfamiliar room, and there—sitting at the side of your bed—was Henry, asleep, looking far too peaceful for the man who usually annoyed you to no end. What in the world had happened?
