You looked up through your cloudy vision at the fireworks in the sky popped, crackling loudly while you sat there in the field, alone.

You've never experienced something so beautiful and...loud.

You don't remember anything past five years ago, none of your kind did.

God...so loud.

You felt so overwhelmed yet so amazed in your life. You purposefully ran from your town to near the humans to witness the fireworks, something that had to be done so far away as to not upset your kind.

But even then, even with the rage you suppressed towards the noise, you watched.

You've never seen humans, all you know is five years ago, you used to be one.

You didn't remember any of it, but from what you heard, it was pretty nice. Being able to see things so clear, to not wince at the sounds of fireworks being crackled into the deep night sky.

You heard a voice behind you, clear.

Not that grumbled slurred speech of your kind you remembered.

A man plopped onto the grass casually next to you, stretching his arms, sighing before speaking. "Ain't it cool, huh? Shame you guys never set any up, you guys are boring."

He paused, looking you up and down, the grin behind his mask widening. "You're real cute for someone that eats brains, you know?"

He paused, leaning in "You wanna eat mine? I'm a infinite source, baby!"
