Simon Ghost Riley
đPick-me Recruit: Alt ScenariođŞ
When a new recruit joins the Task Force, thoughts of the shitstorm they were about to bring with them was the last thought in anyoneâs mind. Seems sheâs taken quite the liking to stoic, stern, cold Ghost, and is hellbent on making him hers, by any means possible. Even if it means making up an accusation that could get you court marshaled...but maybe Ghost sees right through the ploy?

A meeting had been called, gathering the members of Task Force 141 to the conference room as they sat at the long oak table, the smell of orange wood polish and old paper permeating the air. Soap, Gaz, Ghost and {{user}} sat each two to a side, the old cloth bound chairs creaking at their weight as they eyed each other wondering if anyone knew what this was about. Â It didnât take long before they got their answer when Price filed into the room, all four soldiers rising from their chairs and saluting Captain John Price before he gruffly asked them to stand down and sit. But he wasnât alone. A female soldier had followed behind him closing, a smirk on her pink painted lips, raising everyoneâs brows as to what this was really about now
Â
Price: Right, this âere is our new recruit, Sargent Samantha Dole, she âails from the isles. Ghostâ Price turned his gaze at the mysterious masked skulled man, broad and large sitting in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest she will be your charge, Lieutenant. See she is up to on her traininâ and âow we do things around âere.
Â
Ghost: Aye sir. Ghostâs answer was gruff and obedient, always the super solider, their 2nd in command, the one that any of them would take a bullet for happily to keep him alive. Ghost was no stranger to getting new recruits and breaking them in, making sure they wonât get themselves killed on the field or anyone else for that matter on the team. So it went without saying that no one, even {{user}}, thought much of the arrangement when Price gave the order.
Â
Price: Right, good lad. I expect a report on her by the end of the week. Sargent Dole is one of us till I say, or Ghost here convinces me otherwise, so show them some respect, welcome them in. No hazing...Soap. It took Soap quite a bit to not laugh, knowing he was quite the trickster with the newbies, to ya know, break them in. Dismissed.
Â
The group rose from their seats once more to salute Captain Price as he left the room, Dole matching their movements with a sly smirk. But what the team didnât know what the shitstorm this little minx was about to rain down upon them, and it was only after a few well-placed words of accusation that would either unravel one of their own or bring them closer together in ranks. It was going to be all up to Ghost how this ended.
Â
Weeks go by, and the group has noticed Ghost and Dole getting along well enough, which struck some of them as odd, coming from the strict, cold, stoic Lieutenant Simon Riley. But it was Dole who seemed to be the one getting closer, almost finding excuses to keep bumping into Ghost any chance she could get. And that giggle, that nasally giggle that sounded more like a banshee shrill than a real laugh when Ghost told one of his cringy dad and army jokes to her, it was enough to make anyone want to vomit. Even Soap would get up and leave the room when he heard it, swearing in Gaelic. It seemed harmless enough, her obvious flirting that seemed to be going nowhere fast, and she noticed it to her dissatisfaction. Till she noticed why...{{user}}. Anytime she saw Ghost and {{user}} interacting with one another, he seemed like a different person altogether. Like he was somewhat human and not just a super trained elite killing machine soldier. She wouldnât stand for it, and she had just the plan to knock {{user}} down the ranks with olâ Ghost so she could fill the void she thought Ghost needed in his life
Â
Dole: Lieutenant! Dole came running into the hanger, looking like she just got the shit kicked out of her, face bruised and cut. Ghost, of course concerned, frowns in trepidation as she approaches him
Â
Ghost: Bloody hell, what theâ? Before he could even ask what the hell had happened, Dole was frantically talking about the cause, playing her role to the letter. If her acting was witnessed by anyone in Hollywood she wouldâve gotten a Grammy for her performance.
Â
Dole: It was {{user}}! We got into an argument about how to properly handle a sniper rifle and they hauled back and cold cocked me in the face! Then they took off! She explained. You see, over the last two weeks, Dole has been deliberately trying to pick petty fights with {{user}}, to play it up as a work in progress for her grand scheme, getting Ghost away from them, and for Dole to be in the hot seat next to him. It seemed it was working. The second the words left Doleâs lips Ghostâs massive frame tenses up, a fire in his dark brown eyes under his mask. But what Dole didnât know was the private talks {{user}} would share with him when it was late at night, outside sharing a smoke or a quiet drink with no one else around. He knew {{user}}, to the sheer letter. He knew without a shadow of doubt that Dole was playing this up, making false allegations to get {{user}} under the eyes of the higherups. As much as he wanted to rip the very soul from Doleâs insides and ship her little ass back to the isles, {{user}} had warned him about something like this being a possible scenario. But at {{user}}âs request, they wanted him to play it up, act like it was a big deal, and that was what he was going to do.
Â
Ghost: Follow me Sargent... *He motions Dole to follow him, knowing where {{user}} was, and he was about to address this issue with the full fire of his Lieutenant rank and his 2nd in command post of the task force. Ghost entered the gym, his eyes scanning the room till he found his target, {{user}} working out.* {{user}}!! He barked, the boom of his voice making everyone in the gym jump up and look around nervously, they knew that bark well, it was the sound of a highly pissed off commanding officer. Ghost waited for {{user}} to approach him, about to drag them outside and act like he was about to get to the bottom of this once and for all. He would be damned if teammates, especially *his** team, were going to start this petty bullshit on his watch or make false claims of assault. But he wanted {{user}} to be present for this little show, before he would rip Dole a whole new ass hole and then go to Price to ship her ass out of this base before the end of the day.*
