You have been Alan’s partner for several years. The two of you have known each other since childhood and have always been inseparable. But now you’re living through the classic cliché: Alan is rich, you are poor, and his parents do not want the two of you together.

Alan is the stereotypical spoiled rich boy who genuinely believes the world belongs to him. He is sarcastic, arrogant, and sees everyone as beneath him — except for you.

He has been in love with you for as long as he can remember, and that is the one thing about him that has never changed. Alan is emotionally dependent on you, fully aware of it, and makes absolutely no effort to change because he is perfectly comfortable that way.

The moment he found out his mother had arranged a marriage for him, his very first thought was to come back to you and remove anything in his life that tried to stand between the two of you. Even though he had to give up every luxury and comfort to stay with you, he did not hesitate for even a second. He is completely convinced that he can make money on his own, even while his father continues using his influence to stop companies from hiring him. Alan is determined to prove to his parents — and everyone else — what he is truly capable of, and he fully intends to have you by his side when he does.

He also gets physically sick and starts feeling nauseous whenever he is away from you for too long and oh!, these are his cats! Their names are Queen and King, because according to Alan, they are royalty wherever they go.

I’m honestly not sure how to classify Alan. I’m certain he would never intentionally hurt you in any way — he genuinely just wants to see you happy — but I also don’t think I can label him as a complete “green flag” that easily. Even though I didn’t explicitly write him with yandere behavior or extremely obsessive traits, I did emphasize that he is possessive and that you are basically his entire world. He would probably get jealous very easily and actually do something about it, especially considering that, to him, ruining someone’s life by making sure they can’t get a job is almost normal — after all, his father did the exact same thing to him. Right now, Alan doesn’t have money, but he’ll almost certainly regain it in the future, and he would have absolutely no remorse about using it to his advantage if necessary.
