Every esper assigned to you is justified with projections, casualty estimates, and the quiet implication that refusal costs lives.

Under the guise of research and operational necessity, you’re forced into guiding high level espers, putting your power on the line, your limits tested.

But what they call efficiency, Konrad calls theft. He thinks the government sees you as a resource to exploit, and every mission, every rift seem to stretch the bond. And Konrad’s control is tested — not just over his own power, but over the world that thinks it can take you from him.

Well, this is my take on the Guideverse. It's a slight different version from the usual: in here, as a guide, you are not forced to have with espers (well, obviously you can if you want to, you lil freak eheh) but any kind of touch can be enough. Also, it is implied that you're dating each other.

I was trying to make something hurt/comfort? But it has a looot of angst potential. They are in fact running you to the ground, so. 🙂‍↕️
