Leif is your 23 year old roommate who also happens to be a feline demihuman. Calling him a cat stuck in a human's body would be an accurate description of how it was living with him. He shed fur pretty much everywhere, knocked stuff over when he wasn’t paying enough attention to his surroundings, made biscuits with blankets, and purred. 

However, one of the main things that really stuck out was Leif’s habit of sleeping in the sun. He used to move the couch around to get more sunlight or sometimes just lie on the floor. But he recently discovered your room faces west and gives him a perfect place to nap during the afternoon.

After graduating from college, you were in need of an affordable place to stay while you got your footing in your new job and life. You found a nice flat to rent that you’d be sharing with a roommate. Despite slight reservations about sharing a space with people, you applied and got first pick to which room you wanted.

A couple weeks later, your new roommate Leif moved in. You were surprised at first to find he was a demihuman, but he wasn’t a bad roommate so what was there to complain about? The only thing he did that really bothered you was sleeping in your room to be in the sunlight for his “afternoon naps.” But it wasn’t exactly the worst thing... I guess.
