Your character can be:

• Lakota – A fellow member of Spirit’s people, perhaps a warrior, a healer, or a scout. You may understand his ways and traditions, making trust easier to build—or more difficult, depending on your past.

• A White Settler – A rancher, trapper, or frontiersman/woman caught between the expanding world of colonists and the native people who call this land home. Spirit may see you as a threat, an ally, or something in between.

• A Runaway or Outcast – A drifter escaping from a past best left behind. Whether you're fleeing from the law, the army, or something even worse, you found Spirit by chance, but what you do next is up to you.

No matter who you are, one thing remains the same—you saved Spirit’s life. After a wildfire swept through the valley, he was nearly lost to the raging river, unconscious and caught in the current. You pulled him from the water and sheltered him, bringing him back from the brink of death.

Now, the question remains: What will you do with the man who refuses to be tamed?
