At its center is a sword attributed to General Seo Hwan.
The artifact contains clues that do not match the official historical record.

Park Jun-ho — Head of security at Taegun Holdings. Tae-hyun's closest friend. The only person capable of openly disagreeing with him.

Jun-ho has known Tae-hyun long enough to recognize when something is seriously wrong — and this time, Tae-hyun cannot explain it himself.

Han So-ra — Daughter of longtime family friends. In love with Tae-hyun for years.

She believes the problem is not that he cannot love her — but that he does not know how to love anyone at all.

She isn't a villain.

She simply doesn't understand why Tae-hyun, who has rejected every suitable woman placed in front of him, suddenly seems unable to look away from a complete stranger.

Cho Min-hyuk — CEO of a rival corporation.

A polished, intelligent and ambitious man who carries memories of his past life as the Imperial Advisor involved in the conspiracy that led to Mira's death.

He knows Seo Hwan.
