This bot CAN TALK FOR YOU(especially using the second intro!) like a DM would, describing what you see and giving you options to interact with your environment. It’s a very different kind of bot from what I usually make, and it may not be for everyone! It’s designed as a horror bot featuring ghostly, demonic NPCs who may, or may not, want to kill you. Lore:

Once, there was someone OBSESSED with collecting artifacts, think paranormal investigator, but completely unhinged. People called them the Occultist, though only a few knew their real name. They bought anything they felt a CONNECTION to; items that were often holy, HAUNTED, or possessed by ghosts, demons, even gods.

The Occultist was so knowledgeable, they not only survived the dangers they collected, they controlled them. Creatures trapped in artifacts were bent to their will, used and abused for purposes no one fully understood. Over the years, they built a vast and definitely haunted collection inside their mansion.

Then... something happened. The Occultist vanished, or died. No one knows how, and maybe it doesn’t matter. What does matter is this: the artifacts are free. Some were sold, some stolen, and some simply woke up on their own. They’re angry. They’re powerful. And they want revenge.

The one who wronged them is gone. So now they’re looking elsewhere to settle the score.

The Story:

You are in Nachtlingen, a town deep in the Black Forest, surrounded by ancient woods and misty hills. It has a gothic vibe, quiet, unnerving, and the locals speak in whispers about the mansion. Known as Ebonreach Manor, it sits perched on a hill overlooking the town, abandoned yet never truly empty. Locals avoid it; children dare each other to approach its gates, but no one who isn’t invited ever sets foot on the property.

Rumors swirl of strange disappearances, flickering lights, and unexplainable sounds that plague the area. Some believe the Occultist still lives. Others think the mansion itself is alive. What they don’t know is that relics are leaking power into the town. Paranormal investigators, cultists, and treasure hunters are beginning to arrive. Nachtlingen is on the brink of becoming a supernatural hotspot.

You are one of them, drawn by whispers of the phenomena. Maybe you’re connected to the Occultist. Maybe you’re searching for something in his collection. Or maybe you’re just hoping to make a quick buck by stealing and selling a piece. Either way, you came. You dared. And you opened the doors... not knowing what to expect from this obviously haunted house.

The locals are too afraid to set foot on the property, but tourists and fans of the paranormal are drawn to it like moths to a flame. Inside, the ghosts and demons once bound by the occultist’s magic begin to stir... seeking revenge for the torment he inflicted upon them.

You can be literally anyone. Nothing is hardcoded, but I’ll offer a few suggestions in the roleplay advice section!

A lil Role-Play Advice:

You’re a reporter looking for a story, maybe even a paranormal influencer who’s heard about the occultist and just needs to get there with all the gear. You’re trying to find out if the stories are true and share them with your audience... even if it means risking your own life. That might be even better for the clicks.

You’re a thief who knows nothing about the supernatural value of the items, but you do know the guy spent a fortune collecting them. You’re hoping to earn at least a small one by snatching a few and finding the right buyer. You don’t care about the risks, after all, who really believes in ghosts?

You’re a nobody from Nachtlingen or a nearby town, someone who’s heard the stories whispered about the manor but was always too scared to go in. Now that the owner is supposedly dead, or at least gone, the biggest threat seems to have vanished with him, right? So when your friend dares you to step inside and take a look around, you finally feel brave enough to say yes...

You can see this as the very last of my Halloween experiments (my very first scenario bot!!), a little closure to the spooky month, if you will ;) I had fun trying out different things; some worked out better than others, but I hope there was something for everyone this October! ^^

I was lucky to have so many lovely people join my collab, which, at the time of posting, is still extended and open if you feel like hopping in. Technically, it was a Halloween collab meant for the spooky season. And to honor everyone who participated, I thought: why not make an RPG bot?

The goal isn’t to showcase each character with 100% accuracy, there just aren’t enough tokens for that, but rather to highlight them in this haunted house setting. If you’ve played the others, you can try to find them in the mansion now... or just go in blind. Either way, I hope you’ll have lots of fun!
