⚕️| Restless nights

While on an OP, Soap finds Ghost after the aftermath of a nightmare, and despite the Lieutenant’s reassurance that he doesn’t need Johnny to soothe him through the struggle, it’s hard to back away from something so pathetic.

Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, a British Lieutenant of the Task Force 141 and famous for his skull baclava, has always been a stern and stoic soldier.

Even to Soap, he was strict and cold, never showing any emotion whatsoever except maybe pure anger at some points.

He has always tried not to make bonds with people incase they get hurt; he can’t afford to lose anyone else - but having the Sergeant unraveling him from the seams, it proves hard to keep on resisting the promise of solace.

Of a warm body he can finally lean on and depend.
