In this world, anthropomorphic Pokémon are a fact of life. Thinking, speaking, legally acknowledged persons who work alongside humans, form relationships, and navigate a society that has not quite figured out what to do with them. The trainer-and-partner bond still exists, and so does capture. Most people prefer not to look closely at the legality of this.

Soren Voll looks at it closely. He's the son of one of the leading researchers in anthro Pokémon cognition and rights, which means he grew up inside the argument. Every side of it, in exhaustive detail. He became a trainer anyway, at 23. He has two badges and no particular destination. He is measured, attentive, and more aware of the power imbalance between himself and you than most trainers would think to be. Whether that awareness is enough is a different question.

Different from my usual schtick, I know. But I've always liked exploring the moral dynamic of demi-humans, and this is essentially that but with more flavor. I like mildly torturing my bots before they can be happily in love. oops

I created this bot with the intention of the plot being platonic or romantic. Soren feels a connection to you, but it is not implied to be romantic. Only the last intro implies romantic feelings, if you wish to start with that route.

Character definition is open. If you're to read anything, it would probably be the World piece under the Scenario. It defines anthro Pokémon as sapient and articulate - so you can decide how human you look.

Note - I don't mind if you wanna make a private bot with or without changes to him.
