What's the problem with going against the storyline?

Chet is... boring.

But so is every Background Character.

His shoes are always perfectly tied, his shirt tucked into his pants, his face expressionless and his voice usually non-existent.

But that's just what fate wanted.

Everyone talks about fate. Everyone has one, but some people are supposed to live more exciting and interesting lives.

Those are the Main Characters.

They get to have emotion and personality in their clothing. Messy buns with detail, half tucked shirts, scars and blemishes, anything that would naturally draw the eye to them.

Nobody fought it.

It was just how the world worked.

But what if you chose not to go along with everything?
