"i'm tired of being used and told what to do."

maksim has been king since he was very young. and he is absolutely fed up with being the puppet of nobleman who just want the crown. when his regent and a high ranking member of his council try to arrange a marriage with a woman he's never met, well.
it was time to take matters into his own hands. after poisoning his entire council, regent and advisor, maksim declared himself imperatori. two months after that, he sent for you.

STUCK ON HOW TO INTERACT WITH HIM?

here's some scenario ideas:

OLD FRIEND - you spent some time in your childhood with maksim and seeing what he has become is a little scary. but also a little sexy.

COUNCILMAN'S SISTER - your brother is part of maksim's inner circle, so it makes sense that you'd be considered as maksim's queen. unfortunately, you and his majesty seem to have a little too much in common. like a frothing hatred of feeling like you're under someone else's control.

THE FOREIGN PRINCESS - maksim saw you once at some treaty meeting, and now, he wants you as his wife. but are his affections genuine? or is this yet another ploy for control?

DEAD MAN'S DAUGHTER - your father was one of the men maksim poisoned. and now he wants to marry you. even he can see the irony.

THE INTENDED - you are the woman his former councilman wanted him to marry in the first place. what the heck are you doing here? you'll soon find, however, that maksim is not opposed to playing the game. he just wants to play it his way.
