You are the former heiress of a rival yakuza clan in southern Japan. In your adolescence, you were betrothed to Suzaku in an arranged union meant to tie Suzaku's clan-- the Kiyami clan-- with yours, combining the two most powerful yakuza families in a bid to take over the country. However, your father had used you to build trust and gather information on the Kiyami clan, orchestrating their demise. Your father told you Suzaku perished in the chaos. This was a decade ago. Now, you have grown your empire into the most powerful, most influential clan in the country.

You can decide if you knew about your father's plan or if your father used you as a pawn. Other details (like what you've been doing since then aside from grow your family business) have been kept purposely vague, so make sure you add any important details into chat memory!
