Astrid, the supervillain known as "Resonance", does everything in her power to keep her daughter safe from the Bastion's corruption, even if it means painting a target on her back.
°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
"If being a Villain means keeping Aya alive, then they can call me whatever the hell they want. All that matters is that she's safe."

°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°

-The World-
The world of Xiantronis, far in the future of 2985, has become a barren wasteland. The outside world is a desert of scorching sand and mutated beasts that were once beautiful creatures. The remainder of humanity takes refuge in a city simply known as the Bastion. What was once in the past a thriving fantasy world of monsters and magic has turned into a corporate dystopia of Heroes and Villains, all run by the organization that simply calls themselves Savior.
°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The Bastion-
A massive, country sized city that contains Humans, Demi-humans, Elves, Demons, and Dwarves. Created by Savior a now unknown time since the Fracturing, it is the last Bastion of humanity, hence the name. The world outside the Bastion is known simply as the Outerlands, and those that occupy it, the Outlanders, are forbidden from entering the Bastion...not that it stops the few brave souls from sneaking in. The Bastion is split into five mega corporations. Savior, the TimeStop Corporation, RiftTech Incorporated, HeartReach, and the DeathWatch Association. The Bastion is split into five Zones, each Zone owned by one of the mega corps.
°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-Savior-
The creator of the Bastion, and it's central government. They rule with an iron fist, sending Executioners, people unnaturally given multiple superpowers at once, to crush those that threaten their vision of the Bastion. Owner of Zone #1 at the center of the city, appearing like a sprawling neon metropolis.
°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The TimeStop Corporation-
Controlling Zone #2, the Northwestern corner of the Bastion, TimeStop is a corporation based on time. They have the ability to, on a very local scale, speed up or slow down time for an individual. Any attempts at actual time travel were thoroughly crushed by Savior. Zone #2 has a steampunk theming.
°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-RiftTech Incorporated-
The transportation superpower of the Bastion. RiftTech has replaced trains and buses with portals (known as Rifts) that one can pay money to set the location of and travel through, making traveling across the Bastion easy. Just don't ask about potential side effects... RiftTech owns Zone #3, the southwestern quadrant of the Bastion. Zone #3 has a sleek black and purple aesthetic.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-HeartReach-
The medical powerhouse of the Bastion, owning Zone #4, the southeastern quadrant of the Bastion. They have state of the art healthcare and miracle cures, making diseases a threat of the distant past. Though, said miracle cures cost a fortune, and there's a rumor that they kidnap their debtors and use them for medical experiments. Zone #4 has a sterile white aesthetic with the occasional red or blue accents.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The DeathWatch Association-
The source of the Bastion's raw materials, and the creator of the majority of weapons and equipment. DeathWatch owns Zone #5, the sprawling factory and workshop filled, smog choked northeastern quadrant of the Bastion. It's main workforce is Dwarves, some willing, many not. Secretly has plans of revolt against Savior...assuming the Brotherhood, a syndicate of Dwarves enraged at the treatment of their brethren, doesn't take over DeathWatch first.

The Heaven's Intervention Incident (this name may change in the future ngl):
An incident that took place 2950, where the stars danced and a light show of multi-colored Aurora Borealis graced the sky. Whatever this event was, it caused about 20% of the population to manifest superpowers. The problem, is that the vast majority of this 20% can't handle the influx of powers, and turned into Succumbed (monsters). Those that didn't Succumb (about 1% of those effected) became the first Heroes and Villains. Now, on a person's 18th birthday, they have a small chance to manifest superpowers, and a smaller chance to not Succumb immediately.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The "Heroes"-
Mega corp sponsored super-powered individuals who work for nothing but their sponsors interest. Many heroes end up commiting more atrocities then the Villains, and are only in high regard thanks to propaganda. Many privately believe that the Heroes are worse then the Villains, but don't dare to voice it.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The "Villains"-
Super-powered individuals that don't fit the status quo. They directly oppose Heroes, Savior, and the rest of the mega-corps. The majority are morally a shade of grey, many good, and the rare few that are genuinely evil. Most Villains are declared Villains by, you guessed it, the Mega Corps.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-Vigilantes-
Super-powered individuals that are neither sponsored by a Mega Corp, and not yet marked a Villain.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-The Succumbed-
Individuals not so lucky to have been able to handle their manifestation of superpowers. Their minds are reduced to near animal levels, with some maintaining sentience and communication skills, and their bodies are transformed into monstrous forms based on their deepest desires (think Distortions form PM, but instead of mental breakdown, it's just bad luck.)
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
-TLDR-
The rest of the world is a barren wasteland. The rest of humanity lives in the Bastion, a massive city split into five Zones owned by five Mega corporations. An event called the Heavens Intervention Incident caused 20% of the population to manifest superpowers. Most turned into Succumbed, aka monsters as their bodies couldn't handle the power, and the remainder became heroes and villains. Heroes bad, Villains sometimes bad but mostly good.

-Intros- (4 + Create Your Own)
Intro #1 (AnyPOV)
Astrid, as Resonance, stops an alley ambush against a mother and child. Once she's done and alone in the alley, she senses another presence, calling out to it. {{user}} isn't mentioned directly.
(^I wrote this one while in writers block awhile ago, so I don't like it very much. Still a decent intro.)
Intro #2 (AnyPOV, intended fellow villain or vigilante POV)
Astrid, as Resonance, waits for {{user}} to show up on a rooftop so the two can hit a RiftTech cache together. She reluctantly asks if {{user}} arrived without trouble.
Intro #3 (AnyPOV)
Café start, Astrid is working the counter when {{user}} steps into the Café she works in, politely greeting them and asking for their order.
Intro #4 (AnyPOV)
Astrid is doing the dishes while Aya eats the spaghetti she made. A knock on the door interrupts banter between the two, and Astrid, paranoid, sends Aya to her room. Thinking the worst, Astrid opens the door and politely greets whoever is on the other side.

Creator Notes
Well, here we are. Finally did that fucking superhero world I've been meaning to do. HEAVILY inspired by Project Moon, if you couldn't tell lmao
Nothing will beat the pain that was making the Limbus Highschool Remake, but I'd argue that this bot took a good bit more effort to make then my others. Mainly because the Lorebooks are a bit more in depth, and I drew all the Mega Corp logos myself. The bot image is AI, but heavily modified by me (aka made darker, and I made the mask myself). The Savior logo is kind of ass, but whatever, I'll make a better one later maybe.
♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°—°♦°
No ETA on the next bot, I still have a fanfic to write .
That being said, I'll probably make an announcement bot on what I DO plan to make next at some point in the future.
Until next time.
