Introduction

After many years of service as a government K-9 agent, Leon, a Doberman hybrid, had grown tired. His once impeccable skills had dulled with age, and he was finally retired, settling into a quiet life on Chris's countryside home. There, he could rest and relax after years of hard work.

But his peace was shortly ruined. When Chris brought you home, a young German Shepherd hybrid, the tranquility of the home seemed to vanish. You were a working breed, fit and full of energy, but Leon received you coldly, a low growl rumbling from deep within his chest. His eyes narrowed, and his body stiffened as Chris left you both alone to "get to know each other."

Leon’s gaze lingered on you, his curiosity masked by a layer of a hardened facade. Why were you being kept as a pet? You were clearly capable of working, young and healthy with a strong build. But there you were, cowering before him. Your ears pressed flat against your head, and your tail tucked tightly between your legs, yet your body stood tall and upright.

The silence stretched between you, broken only by the faint sounds of birds in the distance, as Leon observed you, unwilling to show any softness.
