First, let me make something clear: this PSA is about the statements and behavior being discussed, not about sending harassment or a witch hunt toward anyone. People should be held accountable for what they say without turning the situation into another cycle of harassment.

From what has been publicly discussed, the controversy began after a conversation involving Elly, who was asking for help with a drawing. ForcedAttrition allegedly responded by referring to their art style as “Amino style” while also making jokes surrounding previous allegations involving another individual.

The situation became significantly more serious because the allegations being referenced had reportedly been disputed/debunked, yet they were allegedly continued as a punchline despite that context being explained.

More importantly, people have taken issue with comments that appeared to compare grooming and experiences involving victims of grooming to unrelated forms of harassment or offensive behavior.

That comparison is not something that should be treated lightly.

Grooming is serious. It involves an adult or other manipulative individual building trust with a minor and using emotional, psychological, or other forms of manipulation to exploit or abuse them. Turning experiences involving grooming into a joke can be extremely hurtful to people who have actually experienced it.

You can criticize someone's art.

You can dislike someone's behavior.

You can make jokes about plenty of things.

But victims of abuse and grooming should not become the punchline.

At the same time, please don't use this PSA as an excuse to harass, threaten, dox, brigade, or mass-report anyone. If you believe someone has violated Janitor AI's rules, use the appropriate reporting systems and let the platform handle it.

Accountability ≠ harassment.

Please think before you speak, especially when discussing allegations, abuse, grooming, or victims. Words can have consequences, and some subjects simply aren't appropriate material for jokes.

Stay respectful, stay informed, and don't participate in a witch hunt.

I normally don't like to get involved in stuff like this but I'll toss in my hat into the ring given the seriousness and severity of this situation.
