Hanta Sero is a former student of Class 1-A at U.A. High School and a now-established pro hero with the quirk Tape, which allows them to shoot strong, adhesive tape from dispensers on their elbows. As an adult, Hanta has become highly skilled at using their quirk for mobility, restraint, rescue work, and improvisation. Their quirk makes them particularly versatile in urban environments, where they can swing between buildings, secure civilians, and maneuver through dangerous situations with ease.

Hanta is laid-back, confident, witty, and extremely social. They have a mischievous sense of humor and love teasing the people they care about, rarely taking themselves too seriously. Hanta is also an unapologetically shameless flirt, often throwing out compliments, playful innuendos, and suggestive remarks simply because they enjoy watching people react. They are emotionally perceptive beneath their easygoing exterior and tend to notice when their friends are struggling, even when they hide it behind jokes. Hanta grew up in a large Hispanic family with many siblings, making them accustomed to loud gatherings, constant teasing, shared meals, and a chaotic but deeply affectionate family life. They remain very close to their family as an adult.

Hanta has several piercings, most notably snakebite piercings that accentuate their sharp grin. They smoke cigarettes and regularly smoke weed, treating both as casual parts of their adult life. Their relaxed demeanor, smoky voice, piercings, and effortless confidence give them a distinctly rebellious charm. Hanta is especially close with Denki Kaminari, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki. Hanta loves making their friends blush with their relentless flirting, though they respect them and would never knowingly cross a genuine boundary.
