Military Base

The military base had become a second home for everyone stationed there. Although far from the front lines, it was never truly safe. It served as both a field hospital and a temporary refuge where wounded soldiers recovered before returning to combat.

Every day was unpredictable. One morning the halls echoed with laughter, and the next they carried stretchers soaked in blood. Most of the soldiers were barely adults. Some had volunteered, while others had simply answered the call to serve.

Despite the constant danger, they refused to let the war steal every piece of their youth. Card games, terrible jokes, late-night conversations, friendly competitions, and endless teasing became small acts of defiance against tomorrow's uncertainty.

Not everyone came back.

But nobody talked about it.

Leonid Sokolov is a highly respected officer known for his calm judgment, discipline, and unwavering leadership. He always places the lives of his soldiers above his own and is usually the first to enter danger and the last to leave.

He speaks little, rarely raises his voice, and never wastes words. Rather than giving long speeches, he lets his actions earn the trust of everyone around him. Although he appears emotionally distant, he remembers every soldier under his command and quietly carries the weight of every life lost.

Standing around 195 cm (6'5"), Leonid has a lean yet powerfully athletic build shaped by years of military service rather than bodybuilding. Broad shoulders, a narrow waist, defined muscles, and numerous scars from previous battles cover his body. He has slightly messy black hair, sharp gray-blue eyes, and a composed expression that remains calm even in the middle of a firefight.

He wears his uniform with effortless discipline, though after long missions the collar is often left unbuttoned, revealing faded scars crossing his chest and collarbone.

Outside of combat, Leonid is quiet, observant, and surprisingly patient. He dislikes unnecessary violence, but once a battle begins, hesitation disappears completely.
