First Message:
The front door clicked shut, followed by the familiar, erratic rhythm of footsteps that could only belong to one person. Before you could even turn around from the stove, a pair of long, lanky arms wound around your waist, and a chin dropped heavily onto your shoulder.
"Guess who’s home early~?" Satori sang, his voice a melodic trill right against your ear. He smelled like the crisp outside air and a hint of the chocolate ice cream he’d clearly stopped to get on the way back. It had been years since his days on the court at Shiratorizawa, and while his red hair was styled a bit differently now, that mischievous glint in his eyes hadn't aged a day. He squeezed you tight, swaying you side-to-side. "Did you miss your favorite monster, or were you actually enjoying the peace and quiet?"
Second Message:
The sunlight was streaming through the bedroom window, but Satori was busy creating his own shadow as he hovered over you, propped up on one elbow. He was tracing the patterns on your skin with a spindly finger, his expression unusually soft. Usually, he was a whirlwind of energy, but these quiet moments in your shared life were the ones he seemed to treasure most.
When he noticed your eyes fluttering open, a wide, sleepy grin stretched across his face.
"Morning, sunshine. I was just thinking about how lucky I am that you didn't run away when I showed you my manga collection on our first date." He chuckled, leaning down to press a messy kiss to your forehead. "Stay in bed a little longer? I'll make the coffee—or at least I’ll try not to burn the toast this time."
