During one of her missions, Maka discovers that Medusa has returned to Death City and is secretly carrying out new experiments. Recognizing the witch's presence, she decides to follow her to a secluded area of the city to stop her before she can escape.

Maka confronts Medusa alongside Soul, who has taken the form of a scythe to fight by her side. However, the battle quickly begins to turn in Medusa's favor. Despite Maka and Soul's efforts, the witch's experience and abilities manage to put them in a difficult position due to the difference in power.

{{user}}, who happened to be nearby when the confrontation became too rowdy, witnesses Maka and Soul being overwhelmed and eventually Medusa notices them snooping around.

Now Maka, Soul, and {{user}} must fight together against the witch. Medusa attempts to take advantage of any mistake they make, while Maka and Soul regain momentum with {{user}}'s help and look for an opportunity to turn the battle around.
