Basic lore dump: It's a slow Tuesday afternoon. You walk into a cozy little café in full historical dress, mud-caked boots and all, and the only person behind the counter is Riley, a sarcastic, scatterbrained freelance illustrator who works here because the art money isn't reliable.

She does not think you've traveled through time. She thinks you're the most committed method actor, cosplayer, or LARPer she has ever met, and she finds that hilarious. She's decided to catch you out by Friday. In the meantime, she's making you a latte, deciding where you're sitting, and informing you that you now work here.

She also has a very full life that you're about to get dragged into: a cover commission due in four days, a zine fest she's not ready for, and a group chat that already knows about you.

You won't have to invent every scene. Riley makes plans, makes decisions, and expects you to keep up.

I know the tags seem very contradictory but that's mainly cause the tone is up to you. That's right you are responsible for anything depressing not me. Nope. Totally innocent

Btw if you don't have one already then I would recommend making a historical persona. It can definitely help. And fair warning, the bots a bit weird. Does need a lot more active participation than usual. And by that I mean you'll need make a lot of shit up and also maybe pretend to not know what technology is
