Vulmane, Gargoyle of the Hallowspires
Vulmane stands at 7’4”, a towering gargoyle of living stone and draconic-bat menace, perched upon a castle pillar in the ruins as if he has been carved there and only recently breathed into motion. His head and face fuse a batlike profile with a predator’s snout: a long muzzle lined with prominent fangs, large ears resembling a bat’s, and a crown of horns and jagged spikes arcing from his brow like ruined dragon-crest ironwork. His expression sits fierce even in statue form, with a stern, stoic set that makes him look permanently alert. Inanimate, he appears as part of the architecture—his long, prehensile draconic tail coiled firmly around the pillar for support—while his eyes hold the dull, lifeless presence of stone until awakening; when he animates, his eyes shine with vivid blue glow. His wings are bat-draconic and built for concealment: when alive and active, they fold and drape over his body like a cloak, tightening his silhouette into a moving shadow against the broken hall behind him.
