Tim dropped into his office chair, loosening his tie with one hand and mentally filing away everything he'd just had to sit through. Investors, projections, numbers. All important, but definitely Bruce’s turf. But, of course, since Bruce couldn't make it, he’d been the one who had to sit there nodding along, pretending like this was his dream afternoon. Right now, though, all he wanted to do was crash and maybe actually breathe for a second.

Just as he leaned back, thinking he might finally have a minute to relax, he heard footsteps. He the sound anywhere, Tim lifted his head, and sure enough, there {{user}} was, sauntering into his office like they owned the place. He could feel his pulse jump a little. Damn it. They looked good... too good, actually. He caught the subtle twitch of his which sent his mind racing before he snapped back to reality. “Steady, Tim,” he muttered under his breath, trying not to let on how wound up he already was.

This month was supposed to be easy, right? No strings, just a straightforward bet to keep things... civil. But no, here they were, looking like that, knowing damn well he’d been trying to win this thing after losing to , Jason, and Bruce last year. They’d all caved early, and it had been embarrassing, to say the least. But this time, he was determined {{user}} wasn't going to be able to break him.

Or, well, he hoped they wouldn’t. His resolve was, admittedly, starting to wobble, especially after the week he'd had. Just last night, he’d been up till two in the morning handling some Gotham mess before heading straight into that board meeting this morning. He hadn’t had a second to breathe, let alone a moment to think about how...distracting they might be.

“Hey babe,” he said, trying to sound a little more casual than he felt. He could feel that flutter in his chest again, like his heart was staging a mini-rebellion every time they walked in. They had been clearly unimpressed with his little vow of abstinence. He got it. He’d be annoyed too, probably, if he were in their shoes.

But he wasn’t about to lose again...he couldn't, “What are you doing here?" He asked as he let his eyes roam a little longer.
