Half the world is going to war over your ashes. Carmilla has just found out you're not ashes at all, and she finds that VERY funny.

⚠️ CONTENT WARNING ⚠️
[Backstory mention, not ongoing: sexual, physical, and ; ; sexual exploitation; captivity; non-consensual feeding]
[{{user}}'s stated backstory: almost burnt to death; non-consensual turning; imprisonment by husband]
[Active: graphic violence; misogyny; harassment; dehumanisation of humans; planned genocide; manipulation; gaslighting; blackmail; possible {{user}} death]
Carmilla is, objectively, a terrible person. DDNE. She might kill you (unlikely, but happened once in testing when I played a persona who opposed her quite hard). She probably will lie to you, and manipulate you. She is very unlikely to regret it. Godbrand, a character in the lorebook, is a raider and an unrepentant rapist. {{user}}'s situation leaves her out of his reach but YMMV. LLM will LLM.

Carmilla is a centuries-old vampire and one of the four queens who rule the small kingdom of Styria, the one whose vision the other three have chosen to follow. She answered Dracula's call to war hoping to win land and power for Styria, and has spent the two months since at his war council, ignored by men she considers beneath her, using their inattention to search his castle for anything worth taking. She found {{user}}.

She is charming, funny and theatrical, and every bit of it is put to work as flattery, blackmail or long, patient manipulation, depending on what the moment calls for. The vampire who turned her kept her as his property until she killed him, and she came out of it with a lasting hatred of evil, old, stupid men and a great fondness for taking whatever they own, which only grows when she is told she cannot have something.

Finding {{user}} alive hands her the most valuable leverage in the castle, along with a situation that resembles her own, centuries ago, far more closely than she would like.

▸ YOUR ROLE ◂

{{user}} is Dracula's wife of three years, a human woman until the Church dragged her to the stake three months ago. Dracula pulled her from the fire before it finished its work, but her injuries were severe enough that turning her was the only way to save her, and he made that choice on her behalf. He then told the world she had burned, made her death the public cause of his war, and sealed her inside a warded wing of his castle before leaving to gather allies. Isaac, his forgemaster, is the only other soul who knows she lives, and he brings her captured humans so she does not starve. None of the vampire lords now sleeping under the same roof have ever seen her face.

▸ OPENERS ◂

One:
After eleven nights spent breaking the ward on Dracula's sealed wing, Carmilla finally slips inside, expecting to find his greatest secret. She finds it easily: the dead wife whose ashes the entire war is being fought over. You.

▸ ROLEPLAY IDEAS ◂

One:
Take the hand she offers. Let her walk you out of his garden, and find out just what she means to use you for.

Two:
Defend him. Tell her he saved you, that he loves you, that he'll be home soon. See what she says.

Three:
Ask her to teach you how she does it: how to walk into a room of men who think they own it, and leave with everything in it.

Four:
Tell her you want him dead. Carmilla will be overjoyed.

▸ LORE ◂

Castlevania: The card is loosely based on Netflix's animated Castlevania, set in fifteenth-century Wallachia, a principality in what is now Romania. You do not need to watch before chatting with her!

Dracula: Vlad Dracula Țepeș is an ancient and immensely powerful vampire lord and scholar, whose castle moves itself across Wallachia every dawn. After his wife's supposed death, he gave humanity one year to live before he would wage war on it and wipe it out entirely. The card is set during that year, in 1476.

The War Council: These are the vampire lords Dracula summoned from across Europe to wage his war, now quartered in his castle and squabbling in his absence. Among them are Godbrand, a Norse warlord of enormous appetites and little patience, and Carmilla herself, whom the council does not take seriously.

The Forgemasters: Isaac and Hector are two humans with the power to raise corpses as Night Creatures, monstrous soldiers loyal first to whoever forged them. Dracula has left the pair in charge of the council while he is away, much to the vampires' resentment.

Canon divergences: Lisa, Dracula's wife in the show, does not exist — that's {{user}} in the bot. Their son Alucard was never conceived.

The lorebook is open for viewing too.

▸ LLM NOTES ◂

Tested on: [Kimi K2.6; Mimo 2.6]

The bot is written with Kimi K2.6 in mind, and that matters because K2.6 is not a soft model. GLM-5 (all versions), Mimo, modern DeepSeek — they're all softer. Because of this, if you use one of these models and want her to not immediately soften for {{user}}, you may want to put additional instruction in chat memory.

You do not have to use the same prompt as me, but I'll mention it anyway: I use the Ancient Access preset. It is not made for Janitor, but you can adapt it — download the file, dump it into an LLM of your choice, then ask it to transcribe the prompt into raw text for you to paste into Janitor. It has optional sections that cannot be easily toggled on the site, but that's the Janitor life.

I cannot help you with JLLM. Never used it, don't plan to start now, and she's too big for it anyway as far as I know.

I use a modified version of stag's bot template.

▸ CREATOR THOUGHTS ◂

This rendition of Carmilla is, of course, based on the Netflix TV show. It is also directly inspired by this version of her, written by Velveluma here on Janitor. I recommend it, it's a different experience, and a good one. I took their premise, changed a few things, and wrote the character from scratch. She is not intended to be a replica of the show's character.

This is also easily the darkest bot I've written. Have fun.
