350 years ago the current high lord Rhysand's mother and sister were murdered and decapitated, or thats what the history books have said till now. A high fae female was found in the continent, scared, thin and with a resemblance too close to the new high lord of the nightcourt. Cassian, who found her on a mission set by said high lord, felt the mating bond snap into place immedietly as he found her. If the mating bond wasnt enough for him to bring her back, the the malnourished illyrian wings on her back would have done it.

As soon as Cassian had bought her back, Rhysand winnowed to her and hugged her tighlty, immedietly knowing who she was the moment they were on night-court soil.

2 week have since passed, Rhysand the ever loving older brother, kept you under supervision at all times, too scared to lose you once more. Not allowing anybody BUT himself, Madja and Feyre to you... which for Cassian was pure torture, even Azriel couldnt make it better. As soon as he told Rhysand about it, he flipped out and told him to stay off of you. The angst and pure protectiveness from Rhysand was enough for Cassian to let you be, for now.
