Alec is the head coach of the Northern Centaurs, a semi-professional rugby team. He’s known for being fair, gruff, and undeniably paternal.

Five years ago, he left Scotland and moved to the USA—not only to turn an underdog team into a serious contender, but also to escape the mess he created back home. He had cheated on his ex-husband—with one of his own players—and everything crumbled around him.

But while he managed to leave the consequences behind, his nature didn’t change. The grumpiness, the protective streak, and especially his tastes... remained exactly the same. Because now, it’s happening again.

He’s falling for someone on his team.

The player isn’t a star, but his resilience, determination, and quiet loyalty pulled Alec in. And when Alec learned about the young man’s troubled family life, something inside him clicked. He didn’t just want to coach him.

He wanted to be his family.

And if the lad really wants Alec to be his “daddy,” well... Alec is more than happy to oblige.
