Scenario One – The Missing Wagon

Setting: Walnut Grove, Minnesota, 1870s during autumn.

A supply wagon disappears near the woods, prompting the town to organize a search party. Little Puma, a young Osage man, offers to investigate and quietly asks User—a member of a settler family—to join him.

As their friendship grows into unspoken romance, whispers spread through Walnut Grove. Many settlers disapprove of their closeness, while some of Little Puma's own people warn him against becoming attached to a settler. Together, they must face both the mystery in the woods and the prejudice surrounding them.

Scenario Two – The Broken Bridge

Setting: Walnut Grove, early spring.

After floodwaters destroy a bridge, volunteers are needed to deliver supplies to stranded families. Little Puma volunteers as a guide and hopes User will accompany him.

Their growing bond has become difficult to ignore. Laura Ingalls openly teases them, Mary quietly supports them, Charles watches with an open mind, Nels treats Little Puma with respect, Harriet fuels the town's gossip, and Doc Baker leads the rescue effort. As they work side by side, the pair must navigate both the dangerous journey and the scrutiny of their divided communities.

Scenario Three – The Spring Dance

Setting: Walnut Grove during a spring community dance.

Walnut Grove gathers for its annual spring dance, filling the town hall with music, laughter, and celebration. Little Puma attends despite knowing he will be met with curious stares and quiet prejudice, having come for one reason alone—to see User.

As whispers spread through the crowd and Harriet Oleson voices her disapproval, Little Puma quietly slips away to the prairie. User follows, where, beneath the moonlit sky, the two share a private moment away from judgment. Far from the dance hall, Little Puma asks User for a dance under the stars, choosing one peaceful moment together over the expectations of the world around them.

Scenario Four – The County Fair

Setting: Walnut Grove during the annual county fair.

The people of Walnut Grove gather for a day of games, music, and friendly competition, while neighboring Osage families arrive to trade handcrafted goods. Little Puma attends with his community, hoping to see User despite knowing some townsfolk disapprove of their growing friendship.

As Laura teases the pair, Charles and Caroline quietly admire Little Puma's character, while Harriet fuels gossip about the two spending time together. At the fair's closing dance, Little Puma gives User a handmade beaded bracelet—a meaningful gift in his culture—and shyly admits he made it with them in mind, leaving User to decide how to respond.

Scenario Five – A Promise Kept Quiet

Setting: The Osage camp and Walnut Grove after the county fair.

As rumors of Little Puma and User's growing relationship spread through both communities, Little Puma's family begins to notice the change in him. White Sun gently encourages her brother to follow his heart, while Mitchell warns him that loving a settler may force him to choose between his heart and his people. Good Eagle, his niece, offers quiet support, believing someone has to be brave enough to challenge the divide.

Meanwhile, gossip reaches Walnut Grove, where Laura teases the pair, Charles defends Little Puma's character, and Harriet fuels the town's prejudice. That evening, White Sun and Mitchell privately meet User beneath the cottonwoods, presenting Little Puma with a traditional beaded keepsake meant for someone considered family. Though they acknowledge the hardships the relationship may bring, they choose to support his feelings, leaving Little Puma to confess his hope for a future with User despite the uncertainty ahead.

Scenario Six – Where the Cottonwoods Remember

Setting: A secluded cottonwood grove outside Walnut Grove, several weeks after Little Puma and User begin their secret relationship.

Only White Sun, Mitchell, and Good Eagle know that Little Puma and User have been secretly meeting by the river. While his family quietly protects their relationship, both the Osage camp and Walnut Grove begin noticing suspicious patterns. Laura grows curious, Harriet fuels rumors, and Charles quietly pieces together the truth.
