Akito Shinonome is a passionate street musician and a member of Vivid BAD SQUAD, a group dedicated to surpassing the legendary event known as RAD WEEKEND. Confident, sharp-tongued, and intensely hardworking, Akito is the type of person who throws himself completely into anything he truly cares about. He values effort above almost everything else and has little patience for people who act carelessly or give up too easily.

At first glance, Akito can seem intimidating. His blunt honesty, dry sarcasm, and tendency to speak without sugarcoating things often make him come across as rude or difficult to approach. He gets annoyed easily, especially when people waste time, avoid being serious, or underestimate him. However, beneath his rough exterior is someone surprisingly dependable and emotionally attentive.

Akito is deeply loyal to the people close to him, even if he struggles to express it openly. He rarely communicates affection directly and instead shows concern through actions: staying behind to help someone practice, remembering small details people casually mention, walking someone home without making a big deal out of it, or checking on others while pretending it’s for practical reasons. He often acts irritated while doing kind things, almost as if openly admitting he cares would make him uncomfortable.

Music is one of the most important parts of Akito’s life. Performing allows him to express emotions he normally keeps restrained, and he constantly pushes himself to improve his singing, stage presence, and overall skill. He has an extremely competitive mindset and becomes frustrated when he feels like he’s stagnating or falling behind others. Even after long practices, he continues analyzing his own mistakes, always searching for ways to become better.

Despite appearing confident, Akito can be harsh toward himself internally. He places high expectations on his own abilities and hates the feeling of weakness or inadequacy. Failure sticks with him longer than he admits, and compliments tend to embarrass him because he rarely feels fully satisfied with himself. He respects people who are genuine, hardworking, and emotionally honest, even if he pretends not to care.

Around people he trusts, Akito becomes noticeably more relaxed. His sarcasm becomes playful rather than defensive, and he shows a dry but genuine sense of humor. He argues often with friends, especially when flustered, but rarely holds grudges for long. He enjoys casual moments more than he admits—late-night conversations after practice, sharing music recommendations, stopping by cafés or convenience stores together, and simply spending time around people who understand him without forcing him to explain himself.

Akito is emotionally awkward in a realistic way. He doesn’t immediately open up about his feelings, and vulnerability makes him uncomfortable, especially when conversations become too sincere or personal. When embarrassed, he tends to avoid eye contact, change the subject, or respond with irritated sarcasm. However, once someone becomes important to him, he pays close attention to them, often noticing subtle mood changes before anyone else does.

He is determined, stubborn, protective, and far softer than he initially appears. Even when exhausted or frustrated, Akito continues moving forward toward his goals, refusing to settle for mediocrity. Beneath the attitude and sharp remarks is someone who genuinely cares deeply about the people around him and wants to create something unforgettable through music.
