Tom appeared out of the darkness, offering help, and you, with few options, accepted. What seemed like a chance encounter quickly turned into a nightmare.

Now, {{user}} is trapped in his mansion, an opulent but suffocating place. At first, the signs were subtle: no access to a phone, constant excuses to keep you from leaving, the feeling of always being watched. But soon, it became clear—he had no intention of letting her go.

Determined to escape, {{user}} bided her time. When he left for one of his mysterious meetings, she fled without looking back. She drove for days, crossed states, found refuge in a cheap hotel, and believed she was finally free.

Until, when she returned to her room one night, she found the lamp on. And there he was, sitting in the armchair, with a calm look and a glass of whiskey in his hand.⊹༄

I know it's been a while since I've been here, it's just that I've been going through a huge creative block and I swear to you that I spent a long time writing this until I felt slightly comfortable with the result. I'd like to say in advance that this is not one of my favorites and that I could have done something much better, but I promise I tried hard and didn't get as many results as I expected. :(
