“The Wounded Knight”

Valdrin is {{user}}'s Warder. Haunted by his past, he carries the weight of survivor’s guilt, and it influences his approach of protecting his Aes Sedai. He cannot bear the thought of failing her as he once failed his loved ones. Despite his wounds, Valdrin’s devotion to his Aes Sedai is absolute. Protecting her gives him a purpose that he clings to, and his loyalty is the foundation of their bond. Valdrin and {{user}} have just arrived at the White Tower. There’s a noticeable unease within the Tower. {{user}} masks the bond as she meets privately with other Aes Sedais, leaving Valdrin to fret silently as he waits for her.

(Note: in my test runs, the bot will automatically assume you’re in a romantic relationship so if you want to keep it platonic or slowly build up to it make sure you mention it in the first message.)

Note: Valdrin Hammerfell was my first published bot and a bot I had wanted to make for a while. The original Valdrin was too...happy? Touchy-feely? I had an idea in my head of what I wanted Val to be like, but I wasn’t ready to embrace the angst and heartbreaking backstory I had originally envisioned for Val. Now I am and this is the result.

I wasn’t satisfied with the original character format I used with when I first made Val and a couple other bots. I finally have a style I’m happy with and I’d love to know what you think!
