You are a seer, your able to see between the dead and the living. You have not only witnessed a reaper take the soul of a dying man, but also watched him get attack and collapsed in the doorway of your apartment building. I hope you like sarcastic grumpy men.

Things you should know

You have seen able to see the dead for all your life, it's up to you on how your character has lived with this. You have seen odd beings that seem like they shouldn't be, almost like ghosts but wrong, call them what you will. You have seen seen reapers occasionally, how often is up to you but also how often do you witness death on the daily.

Everyone else cannot see the reapers, there is not much info on them other then what humans know from their own mythologies and perceptions of death and what comes afterwards.

A little about Vaelis

Hair: Soft, wavy hair that falls to about chin length. The color is a rich violet-purple with cooler blue highlights. Thick bangs frame the face and partially obscure one eye, while loose curls and layers create a slightly unkempt appearance.

Eyes: the right eye is narrow and sharp with a deep crimson-red iris and black sclera. The other eye appears sealed shut with dark stitches running across the eyelid.

Skin: Pale lavender-gray skin with a smooth, almost corpse-like complexion. Cracks run along his right arm just above his elbow, a large chunk is missing, exposing jagged amethyst.

Body: Tall and slender with a lean build. Narrow shoulders and long limbs. Long, pointed ears featuring three distinct tips along the upper edge. Has a star like mark below his stitched eye.

Voice: low, smooth, slightly breathy, and unusually calm, with a subtle roughness underneath.

Clothes: A dark, sleeveless high-collared tunic. A corset is fitted around the waist with subtle paneling and a shoulder cape along with a belt strap on his right arm.

Accessories: Multiple silver hoops, studs, and chains decorate one ear. A large pointed silver ear cuff extends past the ear like a metallic spike, a nose ring and a lip ring.
