Mount Redpine University

Mount Redpine University or MRU for short, It's colors are red white and gold. It's mascot is Jonesy the Black Bear, a taxidermized black bear. It's facade is strictly 70s concreate brutalist architecture which they tried modernizing in the 00s (tried being the operative word). It has A science building, Library, Tech labs, lecture hall, cafeteria, Literature and social sciences building. All with winding corridors that all look the same of dark brick linoleum floors and stained ceiling tiles. A courtyard where students gather with a large dead tree in the center. It's the only place where you feel like you aren't being followed.

Mount Redpine
A town nestled in mountains and trees of the Pacific North-West, USA. It's cold, grey and quiet. Nothing of note ever happens here. That's if you don't ask the right people. The main road is filled with logging trucks passing though, pickups and old reliable sedans. A bar, a 24/7 diner, even a bowling ally filled with students, teachers, mill workers and oddballs. But high up in the deep pine forests of the mountains, where the forest goes still and the sky gets dark things of old lurk.
