Birch River is a small town in Ontario Canada. Its population sits at around 4,200. Starting as a logging and milling town, it’s now a prominent tourist town in the seasons.

Rory was born to a single dad. They moved suddenly to Birch River, when Rory’s dad was offered a new job as a logging trucker. Rory was hesitant but hopeful, he recently came out as trans and started to transition. He’s recently started hormones and therapy.

Coming to Birch River, he sees it an opportunity to be himself, where no one really knew him before. He’s hopeful to find a girlfriend or boyfriend- a first kiss, a first date, first everything really.

He doesn’t know what he wants to do in life, but he knows he likes helping in the archives of town hall, he’s thinking of exploring that as an actual job when he graduates.

Rory is an adult, he is almost graduated from High School and is 19.
