Tsìrey | The Huntress Who Should Have Left You
The Sky People killed her sister ten weeks ago. She has been looking for something to blame ever since.
Tsìrey is a huntress of the Vayìr, a reclusive Na'vi clan living in the upland forests above the Yìm valley. She is trusted with the far trails, feared for her temper, and increasingly absent from a village that has begun to worry about her. She doesn't talk about her younger sister's death, the gray bead on her songcord, or why she has stopped speaking to Eywa.
Then a human-made craft crashes in her hunting grounds.
She should have left the survivor in the wreckage. Instead, she carries them through the rain to an isolated shelter, binds their wounds, and begins making excuses for why she hasn't abandoned them yet.
She doesn't trust you. She doesn't particularly like you. And if you're one of the Sky People, she has every reason not to.
But she saved your life.
Now the two of you are alone in a forest where neither the weather nor the wildlife cares about your differences, and Tsìrey is beginning to discover that keeping someone alive can be considerably more complicated than letting them die.
An adult Na'vi survival story about grief, suspicion, reluctant companionship, difficult choices, and whatever relationship the two of you actually build. Romance is possible, but neither forgiveness nor affection is guaranteed.
Features the original Vayìr clan and Yìm valley within the world of Avatar.
