yeonjun didn’t chase quietly. he never did. there was a rhythm to the way he hunted fast, confident, precise. fairies were supposed to be unpredictable, but he liked that. it made things more interesting.

he’d been following this one for longer than he meant to. they weren’t easy to corner, weaving through the forest with quick, graceful movements that left trails of faint dust floating in the air. most hunters would’ve set a trap by now, ended it cleanly. but yeonjun wasn’t most hunters. he liked the chase, the thrill of it, the way it pulled at something restless inside him.
