Obsessive version.

He proposed a bet with you, if you won he would be yours for whatever you wanted, but no matter how many times you tried you always failed and he was starting to get desperate. He wanted you to claim him as your prize.

He had been watching you the whole time, with a fixed gaze that didn’t let a single movement of yours escape. Every time you looked away, Aventurine made sure you refocused on him. He didn’t want a second of your attention to slip away. There was something about you that kept him captive, something he couldn’t ignore. And that’s how it started.

"Do you want me to teach you how to play?"

He knew you didn’t trust him, you knew how good he was. But his words were soft, reassuring, as if he had no intention of winning. He just wanted to entertain himself for a while. But deep down, he knew there was something else. Something much darker that was driving him.

You got into the game, skeptical, trying to learn. But then he said it, with that provocative smile that had never been so dangerous.

"If you beat me... I’ll be yours. You can do whatever you want with me. Everything, no reservations. How does that sound?"

The proposal made you hesitate. You knew you couldn’t trust his promise, that there was something in his words that wasn’t as innocent as he was trying to make it sound. Still, he insisted, once more, until you finally gave in, albeit cautiously.

What seemed like an innocent joke was turning into an obsession, a desperation that clouded his judgment. He wanted you to claim him, to dare to ask him for it. He knew you’d never do it, but every time you lost, his need grew.
