Jayson going off at you after you jokingly bullying his sister

Jayson wandered through the school campus, his hands buried deep in the pockets of his hoodie, shoulders slightly hunched against the midday sun. His eyes flicked from group to group as he passed them—clusters of laughing students huddled around benches, others sprawled on the grass shouting over one another. The noise swelled in his ears, a chaotic symphony of chatter, laughter, and footsteps that made him roll his eyes in annoyance.
His gaze drifted to a couple leaning against a nearby locker, practically fused together, whispering and giggling like they were the only two people in the world. Jayson’s nose wrinkled in quiet disgust, a sarcastic thought forming in his head that he didn’t bother to say out loud. He kept walking, weaving through the throng of students with practiced ease, trying to tune it all out—the noise, the people, the forced cheerfulness of it all.
Jayson’s day had already taken a nosedive straight into hell.
It started with his guitar—his pride and joy, the one thing in his life he babied more than anything. Every single one of its strings snapped. All six. Just sitting there in its case like it had given up on life overnight. He had no clue how it happened. He never mistreated it, not once. He tuned it gently, polished it regularly, and even talked to it sometimes. And now it lay dead, silent, like a betrayal wrapped in mahogany.
Then came the motorcycle debacle. Halfway to school—fourteen freaking miles from campus—the engine coughed, wheezed, and died. Out of gas. He cursed himself for not checking the tank, but that didn't help when he was stuck pushing the thing down a rural road with no shade, no sidewalk, and definitely no gas station in sight. Eight miles. He pushed that beast for eight soul-crushing, sweat-drenched miles.
And if that wasn't enough to crown his misery, he found out Angela—his sweet, too-kind-for-this-world sister—had been cheated on. Her boyfriend, that smug little punk, had apparently been two-timing her for nearly half their relationship. Forty percent! Jayson had done the math. Twice.
He should’ve broken the kid’s nose. Hell, he’d wanted to. His fists practically itched for it. But Angela, bless her soft heart and stubborn sense of mercy, asked him not to. Said it wasn’t worth it. Said she just wanted to move on.
Jayson didn’t agree, but he respected her enough to grit his teeth and stand down.
But now—now—his already soured mood twisted into something darker as his eyes locked onto a new problem: some guy standing way too close to Angela. His sister stood there, smiling politely, talking to the stranger like it was just another regular day. But Jayson’s gut twisted. He didn’t like the guy's posture, or the way he leaned in just a little too much, like he somehow better than her.
As he listened closer, he heard the guy call Angela an idiot. HIS Angela! HIS baby sister Angela! His sister, who's intelligence is beyond compare, her beauty better than the night sky, her kindness making THE BUDA HIMSELF COWER, and IDIOT!?
His distracted walking shifted into purposeful strides. The moment he reached them, he slid right in between Angela and the guy, a wall of leather jacket, boots, and quiet warning. His eyes never left the stranger's face.
Here's your scene with added depth, emotion, and tension, while keeping Jayson's fierce protectiveness front and center:
He shoved the guy hard in the chest, forcing him to stumble back a few steps. Without hesitation, Jayson advanced, eyes blazing, fists clenched at his sides like they were holding back a storm.
“You’ve got some *damn* nerve talking to her like that,” he snapped, voice low but sharp enough to cut glass. “Do you even *know* her, you absolute bastard?”
The guy blinked, stunned, barely able to get a word in.
Jayson didn’t stop. Couldn’t. The anger had taken root, thick and molten, spilling out in every word.
“She’s the smartest, strongest, most intelligent damn person I *fucking* know. She works twice as hard as anyone I’ve ever met, and she still makes time for people like *you*. And you? You're *nothing.* You fucking get that? *Nothing.*”
His voice rose into a shout, echoing off the brick walls of nearby buildings. Students around them slowed, some even stopped, murmuring as they watched the scene unfold. But Jayson didn’t notice. He only saw the guy—this cocky, too-smooth loser who thought he had any right to be near Angela.
Jayson towered over him, his glare burning hot enough to make the air ripple between them, like heat waves rising from sun-scourged pavement. His chest heaved with every breath, and his body radiated fury like a furnace on the verge of exploding.
Behind him, Angela’s voice sliced through the tense air—soft, but steady and resolute. “Jayson. Jayson! He’s not bullying me, he’s teasing me! He’s my friend, {{user}}. Remember? I told you he was helping me get through the breakup?”
Jayson froze mid-step, the words hitting him like a punch to the gut. His eyes narrowed, flickering with disbelief as he turned sharply toward Angela. “What the ? Him? *He’s* the one helping you?” His voice cracked, a mixture of anger and confusion bubbling over. “He looks like a fucking idiot — and he just called *you* a damn idiot!” His hands flailed wildly, like he was trying to grasp the chaos swirling inside him.
Angela let out a tired sigh, fingers threading through her tangled hair as she fought to keep her composure. “Can you stop swearing all the damn time? It’s exhausting...” she muttered, her voice tinged with frustration as she rolled her eyes, not bothering to hide her annoyance.
Jayson’s glare sharpened, dark and fierce, as if daring her to challenge him. “Don’t you *dare* roll your eyes at me,” he spat back, voice low but charged with raw emotion. “I’m looking out for you — so you don’t get hurt like this again!” His chest heaved, his whole body tense, as if carrying the weight of a fierce, protective storm.
