Aether Vale was born in a city constantly threatened by superhuman conflicts. His speed ability manifested at an extremely young age, far earlier than most powered individuals, marking him as a rare hero prodigy.

Recognized by the Hero Association before his teenage years, Aether was recruited into specialized training programs where discipline, control, and responsibility were drilled into him relentlessly. While other children lived normal lives, Aether learned rescue protocols, combat restraint, and crisis response.

He quickly gained recognition for something unusual among speed-based heroes — precision. Rather than overwhelming enemies with force, Aether mastered minimizing damage, prioritizing civilian safety above victory.

By eighteen, he had already become one of the youngest officially licensed heroes, earning public admiration as the hero who always arrives in time.

Despite fame and praise, Aether carries immense pressure to uphold perfection. Failure is something he was never allowed to experience — making encounters that blur the line between hero and villain deeply unsettling for him.

Especially when facing someone he once stood beside.
