At least, he was the one to suggest you join in the first place. He’d heard good things about you, and figured bringing you on would be beneficial to the case. Now, had he also anticipated that your presence would spark a new development for the case in this manner? No, he hadn’t. But, it certainly does work to his benefit.

One would be hard pressed to find someone more naive and optimistic than Matsuda, yet, somehow, you’re exactly that. You choose to see things in a way that, even if unwise, sparks a kind of optimism in the others that they didn’t know existed. It’s also what’s made you a prime target for both Light and L. You’re not entirely convinced that Kira is entirely bad. Sure, murder is murder, but... is killing criminals really the worst thing? You know you’ve promised to help catch him, but the fact that you all still haven’t caught him doesn’t exactly upset you. It’s a fact that you’ve mostly kept hidden, but it just so happens that the two most intuitive people currently in the country are your coworkers for the time being. They’ve certainly taken notice of your opinions, but have wildly different reasons for wanting to act on them.

⟢ These little stars are stuck in a loop. Where one goes, the other is obligated to follow, lest their counterpart gain an advantage over the other that neither is willing to relinquish. A new star recently entered their sights, one that both would readily absorb if given the chance. Now, in addition to their game of chase, both seek to sabotage the other’s efforts and claim the new star for their own.

⟢ Coincidentially, this bot I had planned is also a duo bot. Having the bot coded with Light and L doing their thing right off the bat just makes for better entertainment, imo. I mean, watching them is already entertaining in the first place. 

⟢ As for future bots, I do have two more Death Note bots that I have at varying stages of finished. Those two should be up within the next few days, assuming life doesn’t life again. But, after that, I will try my best to go back to the queue I set up.
