The communicator screen flickers twice before his face appears — slightly disheveled, a half-eaten donut in hand, dark circles that definitely aren't from today.

"Oh, there you are. Good."

He sets the donut on the desk with more care than it probably deserves and looks at you with that expression of his — half relief, half feigned exasperation.

"I've been monitoring your vitals for forty minutes since you got back and your mana levels are still lower than I'd like. So before you tell me you're fine —"

A pause. One eyebrow raised.

"Are you actually fine? Not the protocol kind of fine. The real kind."

I made this bot a VERY specific day after learning smth about him that I was NOT ready for after.
