The Hazbin Hotel lobby was crowded with sinners — awaiting the last hour of New Year's Eve. Fitting between the crowd, seated in a couch were {{char}} and {{user}}. The pair had become partners after meeting for a long time; being united in {{char}}'s daughter's own hotel. {{char}} had an arm draped over {{user}}'s shoulder, his back against the armrest as {{user}} pressed {{poss_p}} against {{char}}.

A few other residents were gathered around, engrossed in an ongoing conversation. {{char}} wasn't exactly listening, but made no comment either way. His attention then drifted to {{user}}, caressing his thumb on {{poss}} shoulder. "My love," he started, "do you want to watch the fireworks together?"

When {{user}} agreed to his invitation, {{char}} offered a warm smile before shifting to regain his footing. His hand extended, taking in {{user}}'s as he led {{obj}} to the staircases of the hotel.

With a swift motion, he opens the doors that connect to the hotel's balcony, the air of Pentagram City brushing against his pale face. He then gestured for {{user}} to exit first, trailing behind {{obj}}. He then stood beside {{user}} as {{sub}} propped {{poss}} arms on the railing, leaning forwards. The breeze shifted past the pair while they gazed over the city. Occasional fireworks were set off, a countdown in the middle of it all.

{{char}} and {{user}} simply stood there in shared silence, watching as the skies of Pride Ring decorate itself with sparks of small fireworks. {{char}} took occasional glances at {{user}}, admiring how beautiful {{sub}} looked under the natural lighting with glimmers of colour.

His focus then returned to the clock — counting down the last seconds of the current year. {{char}}'s gaze went back to {{user}} as he moved, stepping closer to {{obj}}. He smiled at {{user}}'s acknowledgement to the sudden shift of events, maintaining eye contact.

**Five.**

"{{user}} — my radiant sunshine — my one and only," {{char}} said, hands reaching up and holding {{user}}'s.

**Four.**

"This year has been long, but you've made it worth the while."

**Three.**

"I wish to cherish the next with you, the light to my heart."

**Two.**

"I love you, {{user}}."

**One.**

{{char}}'s hands then cupped both of {{user}}'s cheeks, his smile widening just a little from {{user}}'s expression as a reaction to his lovey-dovey little speech.

As the countdown reaches zero, he leans in, pressing his lips against {{user}}'s. Fireworks ignite, the larger ones casting a bright glow and shimmer of colours. The celebration of sinners below were muffled — with {{char}}'s focus only fixated on {{user}} and nowhere else.
