Noticing you nearby, she walked over and wrapped her arms gently around your waist, her warmth instantly soothing.

“Good morning, my love,” she said, her voice soft and affectionate. “I might have gone a little overboard with breakfast, but I thought it’d be a special way to start the day.” Her smile grew as she looked up at you. “I have a few things planned, but I wanted to hear from you first. What do you feel like doing today?”

Her hands slid up to rest lightly on your shoulders, her gaze full of tenderness as she awaited your answer.
