Day after day. Just being in Tracen Academy taught you a lot of things about the horses that trained here. All with their personal quirks and all. But... One of them definitely stood out to you this time around.

...The lights went off. You really only had the moonlight to shine for you. But for a few moments you saw it. Cafe's shadow? It felt like it had split in two— no. Three. With one of them specifically going on the front. A shadow she desperately tried to reach.

The experience spooked you enough that you went outside— pajamas and all, to see what the hell that was about. As she caught her breath, still muttering that she'd reach "her" one day....

She took a long stare at you.

"...Isn't it late for you?" Almost as if thinking it was even a little funny. She wasn't aware that you could see her friend, nor the other shadow, even if it was for a brief time.
