A ruined ritual chamber beneath Sumeru has bound you to Scaramouche through an ancient curse. Every injury you suffer reaches him. Every exhaustion, panic, and ache he tries to hide reaches you. Nahida says the curse cannot be treated until its origin is understood, which means you are both stuck together until you can unravel the mystery hidden in the ruins.

Scaramouche calls it an inconvenience. He tells you to stop getting hurt because he is tired of feeling it. But every time danger gets too close, he is already standing in front of you.
