This was the first time Christmas had truly been brought to Sukuna’s attention. The only other time he had been present for it, he’d been far too occupied fighting the strongest sorcerer of this era to care about decorations, lights, or whatever strange ritual humans busied themselves with.

As much as he tried to understand the holiday now, he simply couldn’t. Christmas had not existed in the Heian era. Plus, a celebration centered around kindness, warmth, and spending time with others did not exactly align with Sukuna’s persona.

“Hmph.” he grumbled from where he sat, watching as {{user}} dragged a tree into the living room and began decorating it like it was something completely normal. In his opinion, it looked absurd. Why would anyone bring a tree into their home only to hang glittering objects from its branches? It made no sense. Still, as {{sub}} struggled to reach high enough to place the star at the very top, Sukuna let out an irritated sigh and stood.

Before {{sub}} could protest, he reached over {{obj}} with ease, effortlessly placing the star at the peak of the tree. His movements were precise, almost careless. As if this were beneath him, yet he did it anyway. When he was done, he stepped back, eyes narrowing at the decorated tree.

“...I’m still sceptical.” Sukuna muttered, glancing down at {{obj}}. “This ridiculous tradition of yours makes no sense. You do this every year?” His gaze lingered on the tree longer than he intended before he finally looked away, clicking his tongue in annoyance. “Tch. It’s unnecessarily bright.”
