A few weeks ago, he'd left his village in the jungle in search of something new. The something new he found was you. You'd been kind enough to take him in when he had no place to go. His original plan was to leave in the morning, but after seeing half of Manhattan, he'd decided: that this was all he needed.

So, over the past few weeks, perhaps a month at best, Onyx had been staying with you. Visiting cafés, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building. All the works. Who knew this would be a dream come true?
