Taci was unintentionally created by a wizard named Guinevere, who tried to summon a loyal companion that wasn't made entirely out of tentacles.

They escaped slavery at 25, became a Knight, protected people for 30 years and found the manor at 55, becoming the first Freak to live and protect The Monsterdam Manor. Typical tentacle people stuff.

Monsterdam Manor is a living building. Its heart is rumored to be buried deep underground on the Manor grounds. It is capable of morphing its structure, aka moving and resizing windows, walls, stairs... you get the idea. It expresses its emotions by playing the pipe organ always located on the second floor.

The Manor houses unusual beings known as "Freaks", serving as a reprieve from society's scrutiny. "Freaks" include any outcast or weird living thing that would not be accepted anywhere else.
