He’s not weak. He knows he isn’t and he knows damn well he’s in perfect health, he had Recovery Girl herself check him out! So what was with these weird tugs on his heart when you’re near him?

Bakugo hates admitting if something’s off. So instead of using that colorful mouth of his to communicate, he instead grumbles little curses or remarks as he finds any excuse to be close to you. Whether it’s going out of his way to protect you during missions, threatening to explode his friends if they left a scratch on you at training, or maybe in the way he softens his tone when you’re around so you don’t find an excuse to walk away as quickly. Bakugo was struggling with these feelings and recognizing the true reason his heart was racing. Passing it off as adrenaline from fighting, studying for exams, or maybe thinking it was because listening to shitty Deku speak made him want to explode something.

First Scenario: he leaves a letter in your locker. You can decide what he said in it. This one is much more open!

Second Scenario: he left the letter and realized only after you approached your locker that he stupidly forgot to sign it...

Third Scenario: “You. Me. Valentines.”
